YAY! done with the IB! but before i get on to anything else, good luck to those who haven't finished yet!  i know you guys are gonna kick ass and get the 7's that you all deserve!

i can't believe that yr13 and that our time as cis is basically done and over with. i remember always imagining about yr13 when i was in primary school and suddenly, i don't have anything of it left. cliche but true, time does fly, and yes, especially when you're having fun : ) it still hasn't really sunk in yet, that we're gonna be going off to college and becoming adults officially. fine. so lots of you are already 18 and are adults, but for me at least, it won't feel official until i turn 18, or when i'm at university.

cis is pretty much the only place i really know, it's been an intergral part of my life (sad as that maybe) and i love it very much. i've seen it go through numerous changes, been taught by lots of teachers, most of them good, and learnt about life and academia. what's the school gonna be like in 2 years, 5 years then 10 years? What other changes will cis go through? i'm worried that one day i'll come back, and that the only teacher i'll recognize is mr.walker -_-'. i'll miss school that's for sure.

i want to go to university, but at the same time, i don't want to finish writing this chapter of my life. sure, there's a whole new book to be started, but it's gonna be a whole new genre and one that i am completely unfamiliar with. i was looking at the housing stuff at NU, and the seminars and i was just completely bowled over. so many new things, new experiences...heck, just thinking about it sorta gives me a headache. i'm excited about going, because it's a great place and everyone who goes loves it apparently, but how will it compare to high school? okay, it probably isn't supposed to be compared to highschool, but still.

i remember my first day in cis, i came in the last term of yr3 and was truly the new girl. i sat at the edge of the carpet during room, and watched as everyone clustered in groups and talked happily. the first person i met was jennifer chang i believe, and when i found out that bev was on my bus, i was escastic! bev, winnie and i used to be on the same bus, and we'd do all sorts of things like eat my leftover lunch (remember how we used to eat dumplings on the bus) and just generally talk. of course, there was the yr3 trip to ocean park, where mrs.lewis was our group leader and we had snow cones!

i wish i knew where winnie was. i miss talking to her. wherever you are, best of luck!

yr4 was the year where debbie came to school. i remember the first day, when winnie and i were charged by mr.comer to take care of our new students, debbie and casey. he assigned me to take care of casey, and winnie to debbie. winnie and i switched though, because debbie and i both wrote pinafores, and casey and winnie wore shorts. we figured we'd match better that way : ) yr4 was probably my best primary year because it was where i learned to love reading, and that has just had a huge impact on my life! then there was the yr6 production of RATS, amusing but probably not the best that cis has ever put on but fun if not slightly cheesey (excuse the pun!). i loved working with everyone though, especially the council members like jason fung.

speaking of jason fung, him, me, kai ching, dominic chan, and if i remember correctly, mich and bev entered this competition where we were to design a website about hong kong. we did an awesome job, and first prize was an all expenses paid trip to the US! of course, we didn't know we had won until AFTER the prize collection deadline...fond memories though, definetly fond : )

secondary  has generally been a blur where many lines were crossed, and many lesson learned. very eventful, very fun and very meaningful. too much to put into this blog, but it was in secondary where i learnt about love, and for that i am truly grateful. friends were also very important in my time in secondary, and to all of you guys, i love you all so much and i care about you all very much! you guys have probably been the bastion of my time in secondary, getting me through the rough spots and just generally cheering me up and having fun together! if i had to write a song about my time in secondary, it'd probably have 3 flats and 3 sharps, an ostanata and many different verses and repeating choruses, 2 interludes and many bridges. but it'd be a great song, not because of my composing skill, but because the notes would be  representative of all my fantastic friends and the memorable times i've had in cis. i loved doing the musicals, i absolutely adore enharmonics, and i generally loved my classes.

all that's left now for all of us, is the graduation assembly, the awards ceremony, the dinner and then koh samui. after that, i don't know what's going to happen, but i suppose i should be thinking about the short term while i still can. it's been a blast being in cis, and i'm very glad that my mom didn't take it seriously when i told her that i'd rather stay at home and not go school when she made me transfer from quarry bay to cis.

sorry about the long blog. been meaning to get some of it out since the last day of school, never really had time though. flying off to the maldives on the 18th, on the day of the chem exam. good luck to you guys and the people who are doing A2 chinese and stuff!

"round and round and round in the circle game"- the circle game, by joni mitchell, i prefer the steven curtis chapman version. we're all part of the circle game, and where we start, we also end, i'm nearly at the end now, but i guess i also have to remember, i'm also at the beginning.

YAY! i got RENT the movie! *dances around with happiness*

the most productive thing i have done so far during this weekend:
make strawberry souffle!

and why i had to share that, i have no idea...

i hate getting mocks back, and i hate getting report cards. it's like, no matter what you do and try, it doesn't matter because a)you might have screwed up on your mocks, so you feel like crap, b)if you did okay on your mocks, it doesn't matter anyway, c)no matter how well you did on your mocks, someone always did better and sometimes, as lame as it sounds, getting a good grade isn't like an achievement anymore. which sucks. because it should be.

i hate bio labs. and i hate how a certain teacher never gives us back our labs. which sucks. again.

i should just give up and make a living from making souffle. or cake. i love cake : )

oh. and i also love the doctor played by keanu reeves in the movie something's gotta give. seriously, they don't make guys like that anymore! wholesome, cute, sweet, charming a gentleman...*sigh* if only...
